Egyptian Exhibition at Sant’Angelo Castle in Rome

The Sant’Angelo Castle and it’s museum are going to host the Egyptian Exhibition in Rome called “La Lupa e La Sfinge: Roma e l’Egitto dalla Storia al Mito” until November the 9th.

The Egyptian exhibition aims to show the deep link between Rome and Egypt. There is no other place in the world such as Rome in which it is possible to find the same number of obelisks: as a matter of fact, since Augusto era, in which period Rome conquered Egypt, Egyptian art became to influence the Roman culture and the following centuries.

The Egyptian exhibition in Castel Sant’Antangelo in Rome is opened from Tuesday to Sunday, from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. and the price of the ticket is between 6 to 8,50 €, in which it is included a visit of the whole Castle.
