Until December 11 the “Auditorium Parco della Musica” is going to host the exhibition “100 years of Orchestra of Santa Cecilia”.

This artistic and musical event in Rome is organized by Accademia Nazionale of Santa Cecilia with the collaboration of Studio Azzurro, in occasion of the centenary of the fondation of the orchestra, that represents the history of Italian symphonic music through 14.000 concerts.

The exhibition is not only the story of the successes of these 100 years of artistic work, but it involves the visitor recalling dreamy dimension and emotions offered by music. Through the technologies of Studio Azzurro, there are free figures in the space (as they were musicians in air without gravity) that are moved by the public with a special sensitive wand. It creates an orchestral score that corresponds to gesture and movements of the wand, with the sound of the music in the air.

In the second room, three interactive stations permict the visitor to deepen the  history of the orcherstra  through a virtual tour in multi-media file of Accademia.

The entrance is free. The exhibition is opened from Mondays to Sundays from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.
