Julius Caesar’s exhibition in Rome

Until April 5 “Chiostro del Bramante” in Rome is going to host the exhibition “Julius Caesar: the Myth, the Man and his military feats”.
The exhibition analizes the figure of the Roman dictator, as the different point of view of political leader, writer and military general, considering also his private life. In the story art, literature, theatre and recently cinema have celebrate the myth of Caesar; his family claimed descent from Iulus, son of the Troian prince Aeneas.
The exhibition is composed by more than 200 pieces, as archaeological remains, 100 paintings, some reconstructions of enviroments in ancient Rome and some videos about Caesar’s life. The historical and social context and his relation with Cleopatra have an important space in the collection. 
The exhibition is opened from Tuesdays to Fridays from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and on Saturdays and Sundays from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.( full entrance 10 €).
