Roman School-World Wars Artists Exhibition in Rome

Until the 15February, at the Villa Torlonia in Rome it is possible to visit the exhibition about the Roman School, that is an art movement of the period between the two World Wars.
You will have the opportunity to enjoy 50 contemporary paintings which want to tell the Italian history between the two Wars. Even though that was a very difficult and sad period, you will be able to observe the explosion of colors and shapes, Rome panoramic views and symbolism.
The exhibition “Scuola Romana, artisti a Roma tra le due guerre” (this is the exhibition Italian title) has been promoted by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in order to confer value to this Italian relevant artistic period.
Inside the exhibition you will enjoy paintings by Scipione, Renato Guttuso, Carlo Socrate, Afro Basaledella, Giuseppe Capogrossi, Francesco Trombadori, Mario Mafai, Cipriano Efisio Oppo, Antonietta Raphaƫl, Giuseppe Capogrossi, Pericle Fazzini, Antonio Donghi, Fausto Pirandello, Corrado Cagli.
