From 28th April to 30th May in Rome, to the Valentina Bonomo Gallery , the exhibition “Ombre sui muri” by Carla Accardi will take palce.
The exhibition will be open from Tuesday to Saturday from 11 pm to 1 pm and from 3 pm to 7 pm.
The gallery for the greatest artist Carla Accardi, who represents the Italian Abstract Courrent, is the exponent of the Gruppo Forma 1 with her partners Attardi, Consagra, Dorazio, Guerrini, Perilli, Sanfilippo (her husband) and Turcato.
The artist presents 8 pictures medium and larges, which have the same white background on which different signs form, and they show special brightness in different colours : blue, red, green…
In “Ombre sui muri” the white is the integration between the picture and the wall.
From Sixties, Carla Accardi has been attempting the “sicofoil”, a new trasparent material thanks to whom the wavily lines and the repeated forms, typical of her paintings, link the inside and the outside of the picture; the result is an exchange that fluctuates between the picture and the space. In the same way the exhibitions works show a continuity with the previously pictures.
