From 26th Febrary to 24th May 2009 Rome has to host the exhibition dedicated to the italian advertising, during the period of vanguards, from 1920 to 1940, at Casinò dei Principi in Rome.

The exhibition collects an hundred of italian advertising manifests that will become an important research camp not only about the innovative italian graphic research but also about the big artists of XX century, from Adolfo Wild to Duilio Cambellotti, from Balla, Depero and Prampolini to Mario Sironi and Lucio Fontana.

The relationship between art and advertising is clear in these masterpieces borned during the two world wars, in a scenery caracterized by a continuous political, industrial and social change.

These works of art are presented at Casino dei Principi di Villa Torlonia in Rome and they show the advertising art evolution through manifests, sketchs and artistic vanguards books. A passage through the futuristic chromatism and the expressionism arriving to the severity of the rationalism.

This is a big occasion for all the people who love the advertising history, who work in the communication sphere or just who want to discover the history of advertising art!
