International showjumping event “Piazza di Siena” in Rome

Even this year Rome has to host the International showjumping event in the beautiful Piazza di Siena. From the 28th to the 31st of may 2009 it takes place the 77° ediction of this pentathlon.
Villa Borghese has to host for four days the competition among the stronger teams of all the world. In 2003 the event has been inserted in Samsung Super league and this year has a very rich program with 11 tests.
The last evening, the event has to finish with the unfailing performance of Carosello dei Carabinieri “celebration of a rite, memory, devotion, enthusiasm and sacrifice”. In the evening, during an amazing show, 14 horses have to show off covered by saur cloaks or grey ones and accompanied with the fanfare who has to start off the show.
