On 27th May Rome has to host the Champions League final.
“The Champions League final of Rome is a great event: it will be an event of happyness, party and partecipation”. This is what Giancarlo Abete, FIGC president, has said about this big sportive event. During this final there will be a lot of news: to everybody who has to partecipate to the football match has to be given a personal card for a free visit in all the museums of Rome; besides a champions festival has to be organized in the centre of Rome.
Rome had hosted its last Champions League final in 1996, when Juventus won over Ajax and became the Europe champion. The last final which took place in Italy was in 2002 in San Siro Stadium in Milan when Bayern Monaco won over Valencia.
Gianni Alemanno, the mayor of Rome, has define this sportive event in the capital as “the dream of each footballer”.
