From 24th June to 25th October 2009 at Casino dei Principi of Villa Torlonia in Rome, will take place the exhibition “Pasquarosa (1896-1973). Un fenomeno dell’arte nella Roma del Novecento”.
This artistic event in Rome wants to be a homage to Pasquarosa Bertoletti, the well-known roman painter lived in the mid twentieth century.
Pasquarosa started her carreer in the ’20s as model in Bertoletti studio: this man was an important roman painter, well-thought-of De Chirico, who married Pasquarosa, making her become a painter in turn.
This beautiful girl, arrived from Anticoli Corrado to Rome, had a wonderful artistic carreer. Pasquarosa became more well-known than her husband and a lot of roman critics and collectors showed interest in her.
