From 18th June to 23rd August 2009, the “Letture d’estate lungo il fiume e fra gli alberi” will take place at Castel Sant’Angelo, in Rome. It is one of the open-air event most famous and pleasant of the roman summer.
The show is sponsored by XVII Town Hall of Rome and the entrance is free.
In the wonderful gardens of Castel Sant’Angelo, in the heart of the city, will be expose lots of stands where you could buy or only read a lot of books of different genders. There will be also stands dedicate to tasting and to the shopping of clothes and houseold and gift items. There will be also theatral shows and jazz concerts.
For children, but also for adults who love amusement, will be set up an area for games as table tennis, pinball, and will be offerred the chance to rent rickshaws to visit this beautiful place!
The main topic for this edition 2009 is Environment and Cross-cultures, and other topics such as: water, alternatives energies and rubbish, which are daily arguments very important, we should consider as resources.
This is a big occasion to walk during the summer evenings in the middle of culture and amusement.
