Until 13th September at the Museum “Palazzo Braschi” in Rome, 121 works of Umberto Prencipe will be exposed. He was a particular italian artist of XX century and he was the main painter of silence and loneliness.
“Umberto Prencipe 1879 – 1962. Realtà e visione” exhibition is promoted by Rome Municipality, Cultural Politics local authority, Cultural Goods Superitendence and Culture project Zètema. This exhibition is edited by Teresa Sacchi Lodispoto and Sabrina Spinazzè, in collaboration with Umberto’s daughter, Giovanna Prencipe.
The art exhibition devoted to Umberto Prencipe, painter of the silence and the shelter, is composed of six sections that pick up 121 works: paintings and incisions coming from public and private collections. It also includes a paint selection of recent donations to Palazzo Braschi Museum. This last section will show the particular relationship between the painter and Rome.
