European days of the Patrimony in Rome

Saturday 26th September and Sunday 27th September 2009 the places of the culture in Rome will be free open to the public on the GEP occasion, European Days of the Patrimony.
The European Days of the Patrimony are been conceived in 1991 by the Europe Suggestion with the purpose to favor and to increase the intercultural exchange among the different European Countries. On the occasion of “Le Grandi Strade della Cultura” exhibition the Rome cultural place will be free opened and they include: the archaeological, artistic and historical patrimony, architectural, archivistico and book, cinema, theatrical and musical.
The GEP initiative involves Regions and autonomous Provinces, the Office of the Public education and the Office of the university and the Search and other public and private cultural institutions. During the cultural exhibition “Le Grandi Strade della Cultura” development, these organs will collaborate between them also involving the Italian Institutes of Culture to the foreign countries.
