Roman stage of the Tour “Grand Hotel Cristicchi” at the Auditorium Parco della Musica in Rome on 24 April.
Simone Cristicchi, after the success in San Remo, will present a singular show, between theater and song, accompanied by a quartet of classical musicians: the Gnu Quartet, composed by Steve Cabrera (cello), Francesca Rapetti (flute), Roberto Izzo (violin) and Raffaele Rebaudengo (viola). On stage there will also be the multi-instrumentalist Michael Ranieri (piano, accordion, mandolin, guitar, bass and percussion).
The plan of the show, conceived as a chamber concerto for string quartet and voice, provides the reinterpretation in classical style of the great successes of the Roman singer (from “Vorrei cantare come Biagio”, to “Studentessa universitaria”, “Ti regalerò una rosa”, and “Meno male”), well as some tracks from the new album “Grand Hotel Cristicchi”. There will be tributes to the great singers of the past like Luigi Tenco, Piero Ciampi, Sergio Endrigo and Fabrizio De Andrè.
