Cerami on stage with four shows at the Parco della Musica in Rome

The Auditorium Parco della Musica in Rome will host from 5 to 8 June 2010 the writer and screenplayer Vincenzo Cerami.
On this occasion the great Cerami will offer to the public a personal retrospective exhibition: four shows written and interpreted by the writer, including A life of Words (Una Vita di Parole), presented in absolute preview in Rome.
The event kicks off on June 5 with My Italy (Italia Mia), a festive and acid trip in our recent history, in which Cerami tells what happened in those years in and around the Italians, accompanied by music of Emiliano Begni, with the singer Federica Winning and the expertise music by Nicola Piovani.
On June 6 is instead performed Journey in Silence (Viaggio nel Silenzio), a poem about a man who spends sleepless night surfing the Internet. A journey through the web, the magma of the postmodern days. A tale full of words that are interwoven with music written and performed by Aidan Zammit, accompanied by video images edited by Matthew Cerami.
June 7 is the time of the new opera A life of Words, the narrative of a storyteller who always looking for the words, sounds and images more suitable for the staging of our lives as human beings and citizens. A look at reality through the eyes of a man who express himself through the language of art.
The retrospective exhibition by Vincenzo Cerami ends on June 8 with Letters to the metronome (Lettere al Metronomo), an epistle in verse designed for theater. These are poems written to be heard, not read in solitude. Cerami will be on stage with Christian Arcari, singing voice. Music, curated by Nicola Piovani, is entrusted once again to Aidan Zammit keyboards.
