Until May 30 at Lyrical Flaiano Theatre in Rome will be performed   “Tosca” and “Madama Butterfly” by lyrical composer Giacomo Puccini.

In occasion of 150 years from Giacomo Puccini’s birth, Piccola Lirica organizes 140 replicas of the new exhibition of Tosca and Madama Butterfly, that are two great classics, two complete lyrical plays, with the possibility to stay very closed to the actors.

The play will be performed from Wednesday to Saturday at 8 p.m.

On December “Teatro Tenda” in Rome is going to host the musical “Mary of Nazareth, an ongoing story”, realized by “Airam Cultura & Comunicazione”.

This artistic and musical event in Rome takes in exam Mary of Nazareth’s figure, tracing her life since childhood, with a particular attention on her human characteristics of daughter, wife and Christ’s Mother.

The play will be performed at Teatro Tenda in Cinecittà, in Lamaro Street, from December 9 to 14, from 16 to 21, on 23, from 25 to 28, on 30, with last time at New Year’s  Day (at 8,30 p.m.).

From December 18 to January 11 “Gran Teatro” in Rome is going to host the musical “Notre Dame de Paris“.

This event, realized by Riccardo Cocciante and Jean Luc Plamandon, is an international success, with 15 million of spectators in a lot of countries in these ten years. The CD of the sonorous column sold ten million of copies.

The musical is based on the famous Victor Hugo’s novel: the themes of  injustice, hypocrisy and racism are narrated through Quasimodo’s impossible and tragic love  for Esmeralda, a gipsy.  The story is  accompanied by the emotion of Riccardo Cocciante and Jean Luc Plamandon’s music,  for an  exciting artistic and musical experience.

Until November 30 the “Auditorium Parco della Musica” is going to host the 32th edition of Roma Jazz Festival, organized by “Accademia Santa Cecilia”, “Casa del Jazz” and “Goethe Institut”.
