European Association for the Study of Diabetes: join it with HIR

The European Association for the Study of Diabetes (EASD) is proud to welcome you to the 44th annual meeting which is going to take place in Rome, 7-11 September 2008.
Groupe Valadier hotels in Rome, the Local Organising Committee and the Local Advisory Board invite you to the conferences which will take place at Rome new Trade Fair complex, or “Nuova Fiera di Roma“: if you travel by train, the Fiera is 8 minutes far from Fiumicino airport and 25 minutes far from Rome Termini central station.
The location of the meeting, the beautiful city of Rome, will amaze you with her astonishing charm: it is one of the most interesting capital city of the world, rich in monuments, art galleries and gorgeous landscapes.
The meeting will open on Sunday 7 September with a get-together event, while it will start officially on Monday September the 8th with the official Opening Ceremony. The Closing Ceremony and the Farewell Reception will put an end to the meeting on September the 11th at lunchtime.
The EASD strongly hopes that this occasion will give the opportunity to anyone to enjoy the meeting, thanks to the themes that are going to be discussed and to the special location that has been chosen this year. The “eternal city” will surely give all the participants also the possibility to relax and to have some interesting walks through its streets, monuments and museums, tasting a little bit of that magnificent “dolce vita”.
