Mark Knopfler: Final Italian Stage of the “Get Lucky” Tour

July 13th, Mark Knopfler is in concert at the Cavea of the Auditorium Parco della Musica in Rome for the final Italian stage of the “Get Lucky” tour. The founder and leader of the Dire Straits will perform songs from his latest album, as well as many of his most famous hits such as “Romeo and Juliet”, “Tunnel of Love” and “Private Investigations”.
“Get Lucky” is Knopfler’s sixth solo album, since 1996 when Dire Straits disbanded. Recorder in London at British Grove Studio, the album is was co-produced with longtime collaborators, engineer Chuck Ainlay and keyboardist Guy Fletcher and featured Richard Bennett, Danny Cummings, John McCusker, Matt Rollings and Glenn Worf.
The audience in Rome will have the chance to listen to one of the most respected fingerstyle guitarists of the modern rock era. During his long and successful career, the Grammy Award-winner has guested on works by other artists, including Bob Dylan, Eric Clapton, Sting.
